The Safest School in America
Bringing together new and responsive much needed technology in todays school environment to protect our children from incidents like Shady Hook, Columbine, and Newtown. Southwestern High School in Shelby County, IN installed a one of a kind security system that connects them to the police station. Deputies say this allows them to start developing a plan of action within seconds. Cameras and sensors also allow police to track the shooter before entering the building. At a cost of 0.20 cents per child through the course of thier time in a school system, this is the most innovative solutions yet to prevent the tragedies of the past.
